Thomas Katruss, civil engineer

Clear structures, cost controlling, goal oriented working and primarily functionality are highest priorities for Thomas Katruss work.

Thomas Katruss was born on 19^th March 1960 in Hamburg/Germany. After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg with a degree in civil engineering in 1983 he started his professional career as an engineer. In line with his constructive training he initially worked as a structural engineer. In 1994 he met his partner at the engineering firm “Helmrich & Partner”. Simultaneously, in 2001, together with his partner he founded the company PUNKTEINS GmbH. The company currently has a staff of 25 employees and has specialised in general planning services predominantly for the food industry.

Goal oriented working and clear structures are in particular important to him. As far as designs are concerned, functionality forms his highest priority. Moreover, he places special importance on cost controlling and comprehensive documentation.

Thomas Katruss is married and has two children.
