The concern has been active in the health sector for more than 100 years and, with a turnover of over 6 billion Euros, belongs to Royal Philips Electronics, one of the biggest electronics concerns worldwide. In Germany alone, more than 18.000 x-ray systems, computer-tomographs and magnetic resonance systems from Philips are in operation.
