Logistics Centre:

Construction of a new deep freeze high rack warehouse for approximately 10.000 palette storage places with commissioning and automatic loading station.

Because of the temperatures in the deep freeze section, a comprehensive fire protection system cannot be achieved by the otherwise common sprinkling system. Therefore, PUNKTEINS had to find new and innovative ways the fire protection is now achieved by an increased concentration of nitrogen. Consequently, working in these areas is possible without any restrictions and the spreading of fires can be prevented. The planning ensured an uninterruptible deep freeze reaching from the high rack warehouse via the commissioning right up to the automatic loading station of the deep-freeze products.

Production Building:

Extension of production with storage spaces as well as extension of the recreational wing.

The extension of the existing plant in Wittenburg was a great challenge as the extension measures directly affected the on-going production process as well as logistics. Through the simultaneous expansion of production, the cooling storage areas, the delivery of raw materials as well as the social wing four major construction sites were created on the premises, which had to be completed within a construction period of 18 months.
