This project involved a property developer with an interest in arts and architecture. Together with PUNKTEINS GmbH, he was ready to implement his visions of a creative environment for his staff, clients and suppliers.

The central point of this technology centre is a glass tower which takes over the function of a link joint of the building complex and which represents the communicative focus for the processes of the company. The tower connects the departments of purchasing, marketing and distribution with the technical application centre, the laboratory and the “bakery”. It is the interface of the in-company processes and a central contact point for visitors. For the offices, a Seventies washed concrete cube was not only gutted but also relieved from its old shell and wrapped again.

The laboratory buildings are state-of-the-art

Extensions of the laboratory buildings and additional floors can easily be added as both the building construction as well as the technical infrastructure, were designed that way. Already in 2007 the first extension will be created. The building is completed with a carefully planned external design with high-quality lawns, objects of art and tranquillity zones. Thus, a research and technology centre was created which expresses modernity and style through the shapes of the buildings and the harmonically integrated choice of colour and material. Consequently, a light-flooded, carefully planned ambience was created in which one can feel well and be creative.
