At first PUNKTEINS received the task of looking for a new production location. With comprehensive location analyses and the ensuing examinations of the various possibilities the new location was finally found in the industrial zone of Luebeck-Roggenhorst. The relocation from the existing premises to the new site was made in only one year, i.e. the demands of the property developer could be fulfilled.

In the future it should be possible to expand all the production facilities – preparation of the dough, baking, cooling, commissioning and storage – independently from one another and at any given time. The approximately 8.000 m² of useable surface were placed in line with the functional positioning of the building on the area selected.

A modern bakery was created with material flows that are precisely adapted to the production

The social and administrative areas were separated from the proper production building. In this way a controllable personal flow with access control via hygiene locks and access control to the production unit was created. The whole production area is covered freely by a special timber – binder construction. Continuous ribbon glazings offer brightness and together with system controlled openings improve considerably the climate in the hall. Here, too, an expansion by an additional floor is planned and can be constructed at any time.
