With the building of a 14.000 m² hall the existing storage space was to be doubled and distributed on three levels. As the existing storage room of the company had reached its limits, raw materials and tea accessories had to be stored with partners in the past. The planning requirements were the central commissioning of tea and accessories as well as the simplification of the flow of goods. Furthermore, the smooth processing of orders was to be made possible.

With the three-story extension everything is under one roof again

The new building is located in close proximity of production, administration and the R&D department. Thus, the flow of goods in the company was simplified drastically. The arrival and dispatch of goods is made centrally now. The efficiency of the flow of goods was increased and the quality of the processes assured.

”With the extension of our building we have strengthened our competency in the realm of commissioning permanently. Simultaneously, we are creating the conditions for an increase of the capacities on a long-term basis.” (Dirk Wollenhaupt, Managing Director)
